I recently bought a 1985 14' blue fin aluminum boat that i thought would convert well into a small fishing boat. my plan is to use the boat to fish for pan fish and walleye. the main objective in my conversion was to create a large, flat, and sturdy deck area in the middle of the boat to stand on and cast from.. I am taking this 1960's alumicraft v-hull boat and converting it into a fishing boat.. "how to build a boat from popsicle sticks build fishing boat archeage, plan view of a boat pontoon boat houseboat kits, boat building plans aluminum boat building steam bending wood." "model sailing boat design build me a boat to nowhere, boat plans catalog boat cabin floor plans, sailboat sail design build a gondola boat.".
I recently purchased a 12ft aluminum sears v-hull on craigslist for $350 with trailer and want to prep, paint, and a install a wood carpeted floor. due to the fact that this is my first ever boat...i am going to need all the advice that i can get.. The weight of any decks and putting the anglers weight higher on the boat may effect the stability some. a neighbor had put casting decks and storage in his john boat the finished project was very heavy afterwards, so much so he reported to me stress cracks developed in the aluminum boat trailer it was on..
